As of 6 June 2026, the IIBF JAIIB Exam Schedule was officially released on 2nd February 2026 on the official IIBF website. The June cycle has concluded, and the next cycle will be in November 2026.

Exam Structure

The JAIIB Exam 2026 has four compulsory papers: Indian Economy & Indian Financial System. Principles & Practices of Banking, Accounting & Financial Management for Bankers, and Retail Banking & Wealth Management. The exam will be conducted in online mode and includes four compulsory papers, with each paper held on a separate date.

Eligibility

The examination is open only to the ordinary members of the Institute (Any person working in the banking and finance industry whose employer is an Institutional member of the Institute can apply for membership). Candidates must have passed the 12th standard examination in any discipline or its equivalent.

Fees

The JAIIB registration fee depends on the number of attempts, with the first attempt fee being INR 4000 and subsequent attempts costing INR 1300. 1st Week of JAIIB Registration: normal examination fee; 2nd Week: normal examination fee + ₹100; 3rd Week: normal examination fee + ₹200. GST is applicable for JAIIB 2026 Registration.

How to Apply

Candidates must apply online through the official IIBF website at www.iibf.org.in. IIBF Ordinary Membership is mandatory before applying for JAIIB. Candidates must be employed in a bank or financial institution where the employer is an IIBF institutional member. First-time applicants need to obtain an IIBF Membership Number before registering for the JAIIB exam. For Indian applicants, the one-time life membership fee for ordinary membership with GST is ₹1,770/-.

Passing Criteria

Candidates need to score at least 50 out of 100 in each paper. However. Candidates who score a minimum of 45 marks in each paper and maintain an overall average of 50% or more across all papers will also be considered as having passed the exam.

Attempt Limit

Candidates are allowed a total of five attempts or 3 years, whichever early for the JAIIB exam.
